Ted Lapidus is the man to thank for making the androgynous look accepted and fashionable. An iconic designer of the 60s, Ted Lapidus is credited for making blue jeans mainstream, for convincing Twiggy to wear a suit and tie instead of a miniskirt, and for designing the suit that John Lennon wore on the cover of the Beatles’ Abbey Road album, among many other things. Though the Lapidus label no longer does haute couture, the legacy lives on through watches and fragrance. There are over 20 perfumes in the Ted Lapidus perfume line for men and women.
