A Rancé 1795 perfume exudes royalty. Tracing its roots back to when Napoleon and François Rancé, founder of the Rancé perfumery, crossed paths in Paris.
Rancé was considered as the most famous perfumer back then and was invited by Napoleon, a perfume lover himself, to be his apprentice. Rancé became immensely devoted and deeply admired Napoleon’s family.
These strong sentiments gave birth to the perfumes which Rancé dedicated to the heroes and heroines of the Napoleonic area. Today, Jeanne Sandra Rancé makes it possible to bring back each Rancé 1795 perfume again. The current bottles and labels of Rancé perfumes are replicas of the original ones.
