Paloma Picasso, daughter of famed Cubist painter Pablo Picasso, made a name outside of her father's shadows in the world of jewellery and perfume. Picasso made it a purpose to stamp her work with a signature, whether it be a red lipstick or pieces with dove motifs.
A Paloma Picasso perfume was first created in 1984 under L'Oreal. Picasso's vision for the collection was to provide a scent for "strong women like herself". Since its debut, the line went on to release four more scents, one of them for men. The most recent scent was Tentations for women.
