The original Muelhens perfume was first concocted in Germany by Ferdinand Muelhens in 1792. The citrus-based fragrance was initially presented to Wilhelm Muelhens as a wedding gift. Intrigued by the formula of what was then called miracle water, Muelhens developed this water into a fragrance that would later become the 4711 Muelhens. The number represents the perfume factory’s address.
4711 Muelhens features a magical blend of citrus and flowers. It is made with the world’s premium oils like vetiver oil, sandalwood, and attar. These are blended with patchouli, musk, oak moss and cedar to create a fragrance suitable for men and women.
