Jean Paul Gaultier is a French fashion designer who became famous despite not having formal training in fashion design. In 1993, the first Jean Paul Gaultier perfume was launched and was named Jean Paul Gaultier EDP for women. It was later renamed to ‘Classique’, which became popular due to its peculiar-shaped bottles and extraordinary composition.
After his first perfume was launched, he created other notable fragrances, Le Male in 1995 and Fragile in 1999. These sophisticated Gaultier perfumes are produced and distributed under a license by Beaute Prestige International.
