Who would have known that a meeting during the 1960s at the 5th Avenue in New York would bring about the brand that fused its founders’ love for design, music, and art? The Jacomo perfume brand is known for its classic fragrances with all their names taken from the large piece of art collection of its founders.
Jacomo, named after founders James Kaplan (Ja) and Gerard Courtin (Co), and their love for music (Mo), first launched its fragrance for men in 1972. It was called Eau Cendrée and was boxed in a noticeable geometric package. One year after, Chicane for women was introduced.
