Parfums Caron is a classic French brand that was driven by unrequited and secret love. Ernest Daltroff, who founded the company in 1904, hired Felicie Wanpouille as his artistic advisor for the packaging of the fragrances. However, Daltroff supposedly harboured deep yet unspoken feelings for her. But when WWII approached, Daltroff fled to the United States and died there in 1947, never to admit his true feelings to Wanpouille.
The same amount of passion and intrigue lives on in Caron perfume. As one of the few perfume houses with an in-house master perfumer, Caron is all about timelessness.
